Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

Is it true that, if a new tenant discovers mold or other serious environmental hazards in the dwelling (within the first ten days of the lease) that this is legal "cause" to break the lease? (Assuming this hazard is documented by a professional investigator.) If true, where would I find documentation of this?

Thank you!

You should check with the board of health or file a complaint with the board of health. That way, you can start to document the problem if there isn't a papertrail already.
