Legal Question in Tax Law in Massachusetts

Is there a statute of limitations that MA can collect taxes, from a year they say state tax form was not filed? They say I never filed a 200 state tax claim and have placed a levy on my account. The letter I got says it was from an assessment back in 2003. I was in the military and living in FL at the time, never got any paperwork as my ex never forwarded any letters, and just recently moved back to MA. It seems 13 or 10 years is too long to attempt to collect.

There is no statute of Limitations for MA income taxes. You might want to contact an attorney to assist you in negotiating a settlement based on being in the military and never getting any paper work.
