Legal Question in Traffic Law in Massachusetts

My sister owns the car I drive and the one she drives. We went out the other night in separate cars and were driving home with me behind her. We pulled into the driveway and a cop had followed us and pulled me over. He asked for my license and I handed him mine and he said he wasn't looking for me but my sister. She handed him her license and he said it was suspended. He wrote her a C/A ticket for a suspended license but he listed the information of the car I was driving, not the one she was driving. Can she beat that ticket in Massachusetts?

If she really received a citation for driving with a suspended license she received more than a traffic ticket, she was charged with a misdemeanor. She may have a legtimate defense, or can argue a legal technicality of a defective citation. These cases can be fairly minor and straight forward, but she should consider contacting an attorney. She could probably find a decent one that wouldn't charge much money for something as straight forward as an operating after.
