Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

I was charged with a misdemeanor case of assault and battery, and went on probation with "Case without a finding" due to lack of evidence. Due to emotional problems, a bad hand and school, I have only been able to complete 8 out of 48 hours. Is there anything I can do? Could the judge give me another chance if I explain my situation?
