You should probably speak with her attorney if he or she is available, assuming that she used an attorney to prepare the two documents mentioned. Much will depend upon your grandmother's condition, and whether her illness is temporary, or whether she will need a guardian or temporary guardian appointed.

The easiest and quickest is having a power of attorney related to her finances developed and signed by her, assuming she is competent.

If she is competent to sign a Durable Power of Attorney now, she could sign one allowing you or someone else to take charge of her finances. If not, you need to Petition Probate Court to have you appointed her guardian or at least temporary guardian.
