Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

Selling Deceased's Car

My mother passed away and her car it titled to her. There are no liens. My sister is the administrator of the estate and probate was completed in Maine. I am her brother and trying to sell the car in Massachusetts. How do I go about properly transferring the title to a new owner? I have a letter from the Maine probate court stating my sister is the administrator.

Re: Selling Deceased's Car

Your sister as administrator would have to sell the car or authorize you to do so by power of attorney for her as administrator to do so perhaps. Good Luck!
