seperate bankruptcy

if I file bankruptcy on my own bills that are in my name, how much does my husband have to earn before they go after his money ? I was told he had to make $50,000.00 before they would go after him, is this true ?

If they aren't in his name, creditors cannot go after him. His income only matters for the means test to determine if you can file a chapter 7 or not, because they look at household income, not just yours. Hope this helps!
