my ex husband just died, we have been divorced for about 4 years. he did re marry about a years ago. i just found out that the house we had still has my name on it. and that he is behind on his payments 2 months. what can i do? the mortgage company says its my problem now. what can i do?

As a franchise attorney I can say that it all depends on what the mortgage loan documents say. If you signed for the loan, they will look to your for recourse. You can always try to rent out the house to make the mortgage payment. Or you can also consult with a bankruptcy attorney. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
