Payments that Avoid Garnishments

If you are required to pay, let's say a $50 payment per month on a loan, and your financial situation changes and you can no longer make that payment amount, can you still make, let's say a $1 payment to avoid garnishment?

No. If you don't pay as agreed, you have likely defaulted on an agreement.
