I believe what you're referring to would be the charge, aggravated stalking. When an individual is convicted of aggravated

stalking the punishment is:

� Up to five years imprisonment, or

� Up to $10,000 in fines, or both.

� Five years probation, up to lifetime probation.

The order of the probation is the same as that of the misdemeanor, with the following addition:

� The stalker is not allowed contact with the victim�s family members or with people in the victim�s household.

This is of course all relative to what the individual is actucally charged with of course, or what plea if any they might accept of a lesser charge.

Note the "up to" portion of the law, there could be no jail time, just probation, or something like that, etc. etc.
