Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

prostitution sting

back in 2003 i was caught in a prostitution sting where i picked up a street walker that was a real hooker. no details were discust'd . while i was driving away a police officer hooker decoy saw me and radio'd to the police officers and i was busted. i was charged with a disorderly conduct and i want to get this off my record but i dont know if i should fight this myself or get a lawyer. i have had a warrent all these years and every time i get pulled over the police officer just tells me to go down and pay it, its only a 50 dollar fine they say. im worried that i will get on the sex offenders list. what should i do?

Re: prostitution sting

Is this in Detroit? The worst thing that you can do is ignore it. If you want this resolved favorably, you need to hire a lawyer that is familiar with the court where the case will be resolved.

I can help you. Call me and I will answer whatever questions you have.

Re: prostitution sting

You should get this resolved soon. One day you'll be pulled over and spend unnecessary time in jail.

You cannot be put on the sex offenders' list no matter what happens.
