It depends on too many factors to give you a specific answer. A "Driving While License Suspended" charge does not involve as many proecutor/court/police resources as a Murder case. There might be just one witness (the cop), testimony might take 30 minutes, and there's only a 6-person jury. A Murder charge might involve months of investigation with dozens of police officers, evidence analyzed by crime labs, expert witnesses reviewing evidence to give oppinions (including patologists who did the autopsies; crash reconstructionists; etc.), Prosecutors & defense attorneys might expend hundreds of hours preparing for trial, the trial could last weeks (with the attorneys and Judge and juries all tied up for 8 hours/day on one case); etc.
