Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Bills

My ex fiancee and I own a home together and also had credit cards together. We have split up our debt and decided who would pay on what but I want to get my name off from his bills and his name off from mine. Im not sure how I go about doing this? Please help!! Thanks

unless your respective creditors agree, they will not normally let a joint debtor off of an account for repayment purposes. You just have to rely on the fact you both want to keep your credit clean. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz

Most likely the credit card companies will not allow you to do this and they would have to agree to do this. Now they have two people to sue if they don't get paid back. If you want more information, contact my office.
