Child support arrears father decesed now what?

Over 130,00 in arrears and now is deceased. What are my options now?

If he left no property, there is nothing you can do. If he left property, jump on it as your interests would take precedent over others. Bill Stern 248-353-9400

Your sole recourse is to assets of his (decedent) estate, and you would likely be a creditor of the estate. You should determine whether there is an estate to be probated; a probate attorney can assist with this. Hope this helps. Please contact me with any questions at www.lawgreg.com
