Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My daughter's father and I have joint custody and she is supposed to reside with him, but he has moved out of state two years ago and left her with his aunt and uncle with no legal documents filed. The people that he left my daughter with try to force her to call them mom and dad, they get drunk and verbally, mentally, and emotionally abuse her saying she is fat and is too young to be that big and they don't even want her there. He has never held up to the court orders. I picked her up for my weekend visitation and he is threatening me with calling the police. What should/can I do?
