Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Divorce Settlement

In our divorce settlement my ex-wife agreed to purchase land I owed before our marrage. It was agreed in our divorce decree she would have one year to pay for the land.

Now, sixteeen months have passed and she refuses to discuss any terms of sales. Her answer is that she will pay for it when she has the money.

My question is: Do I have any legal recourse in either evicting her, collecting ''rent'' or in any way collecting some kind of compensation?

Re: Divorce Settlement

You need to file a motion with the court. You should contact your attorney who prepared the paperwork or a new attorney to review the divorce judgment.
