Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Not really divorced

I've been in a relationship with a married man for two years. He gave me every indication we would be together. After one year together, he left his wife and stayed on and off with me for a few months. But he decided to go back because she was ''sick''. In the meantime, I had got a divorce and instead of trying to sell the house, he would buy it for us. He helped me financially when he could. Then he dumped me and I lost the house to foreclosure. For some stupid reason, we got back together, worked things out. He recently left his wife again two months ago and has been living with me every night. I told him he needed to file and get divorced by the time school started. He did. Supposedly. He had papers. But with his history of lying, I called the court house and there has been no divorce filed. I have two small children he has been helping me with monthly bills. Am I entitled to anything after all he has put me and my children through?
