Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My husband abandoned me at 6 1/2 months pregnant and did not make contact until my daughter was 1 month old. I had my daughter and have since then moved on to do what I need to provide for her..including finding a job that is out of the state. He is now wanting to see her but is threatening me that he is going to take her and not give her back because he will just give her formula instead of allowing me to breastfeed exclusively. We are still legally married but going through the divorce process. The courts have not issued any order for custody or visitation or child support. If I have a job offer out of state, am I able to move out of state for this job? What steps would I need to take with the courts to make this move successful?

Your divorce attorney should ask the judge's permission for you to relocate. You need a court order to move out of state.
