Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Me and my husband are going to divorce, but I want to know if I should settle the house through a divorce or should I so a short sale. My name is on the deed and both our names are on the mortgage loan. He said he doesn't want to live there after 2 years. I have moved already. What should I do?

Not sure what you mean by 'settle the house' -- but if you just stop paying it will go into foreclosure. Short sales are notoriously laborious and difficult, but they can be better for your credit than a foreclosure sale.
