Laws concerning travel expenses

My husband and I were divorced in Michigan, he now lives in Texas. Does Michigan law state that I must pay half of the travel costs for him to see the childern in Texas.

It depends what your judgment states. If your judgment is silent and you don't have the resources you don't have to pay half. keep in mind that it is in your child's best interests to have a relationship with both parents if at all possible. If the judgment of divorce or a subsequent order orders you to provide 50% of the travel costs failure to do so could result in contempt charges being filed against you. Consult with the FOC in you county to see if you are under court order to provide travel expenses. Good luck
