Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I got a letter in the mail late saying I have to be in court in michigan for a show cause hearing for child support. I live in georgia. I have called the ingham county foc office, called my case worker over 50 times, and asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied. Is there anything else I can do to avoid getting a bench warrant tomorrow. I am financially unable to get to michigan for the hearing.

You may request to appear telephonically. Check with the judges clerk to find out what that particular judge requires.

Asking to appear via telephone is a good idea. If a warrant is issued, they will extradite you.
