Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
been married 25 years/wife never worked/I have an inheritance from death of my mother/I make over $120k/house is paid off worth $370k/have a 401k and pension plan and medical/what can I expect would be my wifes judgement? What is the max time to pay alimony?

You raise good questions, but more information is needed before they can be answered. I do not know how old you or your wife is, what her health status is, and whether she will start looking for employment.
Many other questions come to mind.
I can tell you this; the longer you put off filing for divorce, the mopre alimony you will risk having to pay.
