Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Moving out of country

I have filed for divorce and am moving out of the country. Will I be charged with abandonment if I am still in contact with the mother and my sons and am still paying child support, before the divorce is final?

I am not certain what you mean by "charged with abandonment." Furthermore, you will need to be at the court in which you filed your divorce at the time that the divorce judgment is to be entered. Are you terms agreed to? It is best to consult with and hire an experienced family law attorney such as myself to assist you through these problems.
