Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Post divorce parenting difficulty-domestic violance

I share a 4.5 year old child with my ex. There was domestic violance in the marraiage. I have full physical and shared legal. He has lot of frequent parenting time. He does not retrun her on time and sometime keep her overnight during my agreement during my parenting time. Does not agree to any vacataion time. Threats me about sexual molestaion against my current husband, etc, etc.

What is the course of action. I have been back and forth with court without clear resolution. Police does not want to get involved if he keeps her overnight. Judge Nancy Francis (washtnew county) apparantly is biased towards fathers.

If it comes down to judicial bias, and you can prove her decision is not based on the record or supported by law, you may need to appeal her decisions. Short of that, you may need to present the case differently. Are you represented by counsel? For more info, please contact my office at (248)851-3171.

You may have to hire counsel to do a show-cause hearing to remedy the situation and punish him for violating the court order.
