Settlement Question

Does a signed quit claim deed by the plaintiff in a divorce relinquish their right to 50% of the profit once the property sells?

Once someone quit claim's a fee simple they no longer own the property. You should contact a lawyer to look at the granting language to see what was transferred.

A quit claim deeds conveys all of the grantor's right, title and interest in the real property. This would include the right to receive proceeds from the sale of the property. However, a court order might give the grantor the right to some of those proceeds.
