campground membership

Do membership private campgrounds have liabity for discrimination and not supplying paid services? I was promised a particular site then was told someone else has taken my site when I asked for refund they told me they had no refund policy.

Re: campground membership

Was there anything in writing regarding this? Even if there was, it is likely that while the campground may have accepted your request for a specific site, they probably don't guarantee it. If the deposit is a lot, then continue requesting it back.

They don't have to have a refund policy if it was YOUR mistake, but you can negotiate in a way that it's in their best interest.

IF however, they gave your spot to someone else, they have no basis on which to keep the money. BBB, local TV and local counsel.
