Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

Eviction of Tenant

I own an LLC that rents residential real estate. I need to evict a tenant for non payment of rent. Michigan law used to state that an LLC needs to be represented by an attorney in Landlord-Tenant law. Is this still true? It's been 4 years since I've been to court for this. I've lost enough money with this tenant and would like to handle the court proceedings myself.

Re: Eviction of Tenant

As the law stands at this time it is still required for an LLC, even if only a single member LLC, to use an attorney for an action such as this.
