Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

my kid accidently broke my friends phone. I offered to help pay for a new one and she wouldn't take the amount offered to her which was 150.00. The phone is old and the phone company Tmobile no longer sells the phone. I called and talked to Rob an associate at Tmobile and he told me 150.00 was more than sufficent. She wouldn't accept my offer. I then offered to buy the same phone new off of ebay with a 2 year contract, which she didn't have in the first place. At first she agreed then quickly backed out because she didn't feel the phone was safe to buy off of the internet. Am I obligated to buy her a phone? If so how do I find out what is the right amount that is owed?

You are being more than reasonable. I would withdraw the offer and let her sue you in small claims. Actually your kid, not you. Move on and let them figure it out.
