Left with the Mess

My live in Boyfriend of 20 years moved out in sept 2003 he left behind his Amazon Parrotts, I have told him to come and get them but 5 months later he still has not.He never brings them food or offers to clean their cage, Can I legally sell them know? He signed of on the house and has no rights or claims to it does that include everything inside including birds?

Send him a letter return receipt requested. Tell him that he has two weeks to come and get them. In the meantime go ahead and list them for sale if you want to. If he comes and gets them, fine. If not, after two weeks. Sell them, give them away, or give them to the humane society or a zoo if you can.
