Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan

Purchase Agreement/Offer

I put in an offer for a house I would like to buy. We put down full price because that is what they wanted. They are now refusing to sign and accept our offer. Can they legally not accept our offer even though they signed a form with their realator stating the price they were asking?

Re: Purchase Agreement/Offer

A seller is under no obligation to accept an offer from a buyer for the sale of real estate. Only when the purchase agreement is signed by both parties to the sale is the sale enforceable by either party. If you have any further questions, please contact me at www.lawgreg.com
