Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

intestate

father passed away this year. my brother who was guardian has all of a sudden become conservator. Are they one in the same? There is an account worth hundreds of thousand in which has a beneficiary. How can I find out when this beneficiary was added? I called and was told I cannot get any information cause I am not designated on the account. There are many other accounts in which my brother the ''guardian/conservartor'' has not mentioned any benficiaries. Just sounds fishy to me. What can I do? This is going thru the court system right now and conservator finalization in supposed to be soon?

Re: intestate

a conservatorship is only for a living person. It must be a deceased estate. You would have to sue in probate court and make it a contested matter. I have over 12 years handling probate matters and would be happy to discuss with you. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to contact me. Tim Klisz
