Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My mother was married to a man for 4 years when he passed away. She had moved into his home which was paid for, before they ever got married. She has the house until she passes away which was determined by probate and a will, then the house goes to his grown children. The question I have is, how much time do we have to get her personal belongings from the house when she passes away before his grown children take over the house? Thank-you

a reasonable time. It will take over a month to complete an eviction. An eviction may not apply if the house is vacant. I hope you will be able to work out a reasonable time with the heirs. If you need to hire an attorney, please contact me at www.johntatone.com or 888-988-LAWS (5297)
