I requested equal distribution among ea. of my fathers childrn but father 2 living sisters want to be included in equal distributn. They are disputing the distribution saying they were my father care givers. He was not handicap in fact the accident happened after her left work that day. Can this be right?

Re: probate

If your father died without a will, the laws of intestate succession would apply. In Michigan, the money would go to the children. It would only go to the sisters if there were no living children with descendants.

Tell them thank you for the care giving but it does not entitle them to anything. One should not give in expectation of a return benefit.
