Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan
I work for the school within a psychiatric hospital for emotionally impaired children. I was sexually assaulted (over clothing) by a patient; I believe the hospital was negligent in failing to prevent the situation, and not having staff there to intervene when the incident occurred. Can you please tell me how to proceed? I have already filed an incident report within the hospital, and a police report outside of the hospital.
