Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

If someone invites you to a destination wedding and also asks you to rent an expensive vehicle to help transport guests and at the last minute decides to un-invite you and you have already paid for all the expenses and they are non-refundable can they be held responsible for your expenses?

You may have a claim in conciliation court. You are going to have to prove that you did in fact pay these costs, did not use them, and they were non-refundable. If you still went there and used the vehicle, but did not go to the wedding, you will probably not win. The court may also consider why you were uninvited at the last minute.
