3 rd of 5th degree possesion

i was at a residence cause my car broke down. so the people there said i couldspend the night. when i awoke the next day there were guns at my head and no one else at home. it was the police with a search warrant for stolen property. what they found was meth and a pipe in a room i was sleeping in . they took my money and said i was gonna be charged with 3rd or 5th degree possesion . this stuff wasn.t mine and i new nothing about any stolen property. they said they were taking me to jail. then they said they weren't but i had one week to help them find out about this stolen stuff. i don't no these people who they are speaking of. can they do this can i charged for something that isn't mine. can they take my money like this.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. However, you may very well be charged with drug possession since the drugs were within your general geographic area. It could certainly be potential constructive possession if the meth and pipe were in plain veiw.
