Legal Question in Criminal Law in Minnesota

what are the charges of burglary

I am wondering what the charges of nine stolen guns and a half a gram of crack found in a house, however there is nothing else on his record. It is a first offense. What would the charges be for this crime.

Thanks so much!

Becky

Re: what are the charges of burglary

It would take some time, and more facts, to determine exactly what charges could be filed. It would depend upon what evidence the police have, and whether they obtained it legally. Suffice it to say that (1) stolen property, (2) illegal guns, and (3) cocaine, are all felonies with potential sentences of over a year in prison. Also, if the guns were "in possession or used," at the time of a cocaine possession offense, there is a three year prison mandatory minimum -- even for a first time offender. This makes it even more important to have a criminal defense lawyer's help, soon.

If this person would like to discuss with me defenses to the criminal charges, and to the mandatory minimum gun enhancement, call me. My contact information is below.
