Re: warrants -- leaving the state

It is a virtual certainty that arrest warrants from Minnesota will follow a person to New Mexico. This person's warrants would normally be detected by a police officer conducting a traffic stop in New Mexico, and would likely result in immediate arrest. Most states are members of an interstate compact, and will not issue a drivers license to a person whose drivers license in another state is still under suspension.
