Child Support Question

I missed a court date to to performance finals at college. The date was a chilod support modification case I then appealed to have my hearing held they denied this hearing and said I had to go to the state court of appeals which I cannot afford or understand. I need to know how long I have to wait to reapply for child support modification

You are in a VERY difficult position. You cannot miss a court date without significant risk that hte court will enter an order that is contrary to yoru interest by default. If you fail to appear, yuou have no voice in tha court riom proceeding.

Moreover, you cannnot simply relitigate the same issue if you miss a court date. Instead, you must demonstrate that there has a been a substantial change in cuircumstance since the last order. You
