Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My ex husband was required to have in force a spousal support trust agreement, in the event of his death. It specifically stated is pension plan and had the trustee the benificiary of this plan. He passed away and I am told that he changed benificiarys and never notified me. I am being told that his spousal support obligations are over. ?? He acted in bad faith and just recently the courts upheld his attempt to reduce spousal support. The trustee of the support trust is also the executor of the estate which is now in probate. I have not received any support since the deceased passed in March. ?? what are my options when he did not fund his trust and also lied to his council that I was mentioned in his will. Teri

The answer would require a review of your existing orders. However, if he was required to secure spousal support with an asset of predefined vale, you may be able to file a Motion seeking to place the proceeds or asset into a constructive trust to be used for the purposes designated in the final Decree.
