Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Marital Terminal Agreement

My wife and I have signed and submitted a ''Stipuated Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, Order for Judgment, Judgment and Decree'' form in addition to other neccessary forms. The court sent us a hearing date and on the form it states ''You are expected to appear fully prepared, unless you execute a Marital Termination Agreement and Proposed Findings for the court''. I thought the form I listed above (Stipulated Findings...) covered everything. Do we still need to prepare the Marital Term Agreement and Proposed Findings? Also, are we both required to show up for the hearing?

I should note that we have agreed on all matters and both signed waiver of counsel.

Re: Marital Terminal Agreement

Yes, you need to do a Marital Termination Agreement and a Proposed Findings. If you submit both and the Court accepts them they will cancel the hearing. If they are not done correctly the hearing will still be scheduled and both of you are required to show.
