Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Minnesota

Cross state restraining order.

Not sure if I selected the correct area of law for this, so I appologize ahead of time. My question has to do with a restraining order filed in one state and delivered to someone in a different state. If there is a court date set, will the person recieving notice about it have to go to the state the restraining order was filed in? Thank you for your time.

Usually has to be SERVED, not delivered. Need to see it and check applicable procedure, but NO, they will not have to cross state lines to attend hearing unless their home state court orders them to .
