Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota

Unemployment Benifits While Working

My son is layed off from seasonal heavy equipment operation and drawing unemployment. He has purchased a semi tractor and has started to pull for a private contractor and wants to put proceeds to pay for tractor and expenses. ie.-loan, fuel, permits, maintenance etc. Can he still draw unimployment if none of the proceeds of the truck go directly to him or if he can prove that 100% of the proceeds go to the truck until it's paid for?

So, when you say "proceeds" you mean: Paycheck?

No, you can't get UE benefits if you're drawing a paycheck.

It doesn't matter if all the money goes to charity or the casino, it's still a paycheck.
