Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota

executorship

My sister died last year and her friend is the executor and I am primary beneficiary. Is it unusual for the executor to not keep me updated on basic sales and lawyer fees and the amount of money remaining in the ''slush'' fund or whatever it is you call it???

You should ask for an accounting. You have the right to one. If the friend withholds it then, you have a problem and likely need a lawyer.
