Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Minnesota

Can a person refuse to be an heir or befactor of someone's estate.

I'm in the will of my Father's estate (95yrs) and I told him to take my name out the will and disburse what would have come to me, among my brothers and sister?

He said no, you can't do that.
