Re: 1st Felony

The State is not obligated to "drop the charges" and the charges "do not belong to your cousins" to drop. You need excellent criminal defense counsel to try to get the charge reduced to "trespassing less than larceny" which is a misdemeanor which will not go on your record like a felony. Further, there are sentencing alternatives available which may result in your charges being dismissed if you complete a probationary period successfully and do not commit any other crimes in the meantime. You should immediately hire competent defense counsel. You cannot "automatically" get the charges dismissed simply because your cousins do not wish to prosecute. However, that position helps you in the disposition of your case.
