Re: Alleged rape

The answer to your inquiry depends on whether or not there is ANY chance you could be deemed "Guilty" in my opinion. I would proceed VERY Cautiously at this point. If the allegation is that you took advantage of a person (i.e., unauthorized sex) then I would consult an Attorney at once to discuss the facts. If the alleged victim is underage, thus any sexual activity would be illegal, I would definitely NOT contact authorities to discuss anything. In EVERY INSTANCE, I WOULD CONTACT EXPERIENCED DEFENSE COUNSEL FIRST. Never, ever speak with Police or other law enforcement, if there is ANY chance you will be named as a Defendant, without Counsel by your side. Also, it is extremely important to make absolutely sure to be completely candid with your Attorney and to tell the ENTIRE story to the Attorney, even the things you think MAY be unimportant [and especially the things that may embarass you (if any)].
