Re: shoplifting

Hard to answer such a vague question, but you should contact an attorney for an appointment or, if you can't afford an attorney, complete a written petition with the court for a court-appointed lawyer (if you've been indicted for felony shoplifting). Otherwise, if you're guilty and/or expect to be found guilty, start saving money. Whatever court you're in, you'll be fined. If you're able to pay your fine and court costs on the day or reckoning, it may buy you some credibility with the judge who then may be persuaded to go easy on you. Obviously, no promises can be made, but that's the best advice I can give you.
