Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

father died, will changed at time of death...statue of limitations?

My father died 3 1/2 years ago. He was to leave me land & had started building a house. Power of attorney was changed by my aunt at or near the time of his death giving her full access. At the time i didn't care because the land is in the ''country'' & i currently live in another state but i've now changed my mind.

Is it too late for me to hire an attorney in this matter?

A power of attorney will not change a will and may not be effective for conveyance of land. You need to have an attorney examine the documents, advise you, and possibly seek redress in court.
