Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Property fight

My estranged husband will not surrender the extra key to my car and I'm afraid he will come to my house and steal that car and I can't do a thing about it. Can I file charges against him for not surrendering my keys? He has the extra set of keys for my son's car, too. Neither of these cars is owned by him. They are the sole property of me. He took the keys to his job so I couldn't get them and now blantantly refuses to give them to me.

Re: Property fight

You can hire a locksmith to have the locks changed. Additionally, you can sue for an injunction ordering him to stay away from your property and any other relief the court feels is appropriate, including return of your vehicle keys.
